New Every Morning
Father, so often when people ask me, "What's new?" my response is a meaningless,
"Same old, same old!" Or "Not much…." How empty!
Father, not only do I want to be AMAZED by my Jesus,
but I want to recognize and be aware of Your mercies and
Your compassion every morning of every day.
Give me eyes to see and a heart that is aware! Thank You, My LORD.
Lamentations 3:22-24
Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him."
